Before your customers can utilize CF DSN in Helm, you will need to modify their account resources. This guide provides detailed directions on the process you need to complete. To begin, please login to Helm and then go to your hosting plans page. The process outlined below will need to be completed for each of your hosting plans:

  1. Click on the hosting plan
  2. Click on the Plan Name
  3. Click on "Resource Limits"
  4. Click on "Web Resources".
  5. Modify the "ColdFusion DSNs" resource accordingly. If this value remains set at 0 your customers will not be able to utilize CF DSN. We recommend setting this value to the number of domains you allow hosted in the hosting plan.
  6. Click "Save". Click "Back"
Repeat this process for each of your hosting plans. Please note that your customers site's must be running ColdFusion MX in order to make use of the ColdFusion DSN feature. If they are still using ColdFusion 5, they should make use of the ODBC DSN feature within Helm.
